This microcredential course is intended for Clinical Aestheticians and other Skin Care Professionals and is mapped to US ANSI, FDA, OSHA & CMS standards and regulations governing laser and IPL use in professional settings in the United States.

Aesthetic education requirements vary from State to State and across different scopes of practice. This training program provides course materials which include multiple workbooks, PowerPoint presentations and reference materials. You must  complete the online multiple-choice assessments at the end of each lesson in order to pass the module.
Upon completion you will receive certification awarding 10 CE's from NCEA. This course is also recognised by the Board of Laser Safety (BLS) Certification Maintenance No: 106-34565 for 1 CM point. (10 contact hours)

Core of Knowledge Training includes the following topics:

• Hazards and risks from equipment and laser or IPL beams
• Laser & Intense Light Source radiation - tissue Interaction 
• Relevant legislation and safety standards

The subjects will be covered by 10 lessons over 4 units of learning.
