This six-unit specialist program provides the learner with a detailed knowledge of acne physiology, comprehensive diagnostic skills of the condition, and knowledge of treatment options that will allow the clinician to develop and guide patients in successful acne treatments.
Acne is a chronic skin condition presented almost daily in skin treatment and medical aesthetic clinics and poses treatment challenges because of specific clinical presentation and patient needs.
The outcomes of this course are the understanding of the process of acne formation and interpretation of the clinical examination that will help guide and build both diagnostic skills and provide improved interventions and treatment outcomes.

• The recognition of all visible and diagnostic clues and cues related to the acne condition
